About Us

Southern Peak Brewery is a 7-barrel brewery and taproom, established in 2016 and located just outside of downtown Apex. Nestled in the Villages of Apex neighborhood, our award winning brewery produces a wide range of styles focusing on traditional German styles, lagers and IPAs.    

Before prohibition towns and communities across the country had their own brewery or tavern, where friends and family got together, creative conversations thrived, problems were solved (well, sort of!) and local pints with variety and character were served.  

Southern Peak’s philosophy is not one of nostalgia, but more a spirit that revives a certain character, defined by hard work, personal touch and a strong sense of community.  We exist to craft a return to community.

We love the rich history that has shaped the Town of Apex into the amazing place that it is today.  We are proud to be part of this community and excited to share our dream with you - our neighbors, friends and family.  Cheers!
